Tagua is the dried nut of the Tagua palm, Phytelephas aequatorialis, and comes from Ecuador.
Tagua has only beautiful properties: it is natural, vegetable, completely biodegradable, captures CO2 during its growth, it is non-toxic, even edible when fresh, protects the rainforests - as a substitute source of income for logging - and protects the elephants - as a substitute for ivory.
And above all, it is beautiful.
