Woolen carpet from Ecuador

This beautiful rug made of 100% sheep's wool will look fantastic in many interiors. It is made of only natural materials. This may cause minor color differences. The rugs are handmade and finished in Ecuador and are 170 cm wide and 115 cm long. All products are personally selected by Rebecca. A strict selection on quality takes place. Rebecca selects the products for her webshop on honesty. Everything is purchased directly from the local communities.

Cleaning the carpet

Here are a few tips to keep your carpet looking good for as long as possible. It is best to vacuum a woolen carpet with a smooth vacuum cleaner mouth, ie with the bristles retracted. This reduces the chance that the yarns will fluff or break. In addition to the top of the back, vacuum the bottom regularly.

Note: wool is a material that looks fluffy by itself, so you can't prevent this either. Depending on the weave binding, it will turn out how much it will pill. Loose weave bindings will pill faster than tight weave bindings.

Is there a stain in your carpet? Then make a mixture of about 10% natural vinegar and 90% cold water. Take a clean cloth or firm sponge and dab the mixture onto the stain, but don't scrub! If only dabbing does not work, try very gently rubbing only the stain. Make sure that the cloth or sponge is not too wet, squeeze a little if necessary.
