Washing instructions

You would prefer to use the pillows 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, but that is of course not possible. Once these have to be washed, but how do you do that best?

It is best not to wash the cushions but to let them air out. Alpaca wool is self-cleaning and by allowing the wool to air, any unpleasant odors will disappear. But if there really is a stain, it is wise to wash the pillow. You can do this in the washing machine on a wool or hand wash program, preferably no higher than 30 degrees. Use washing powder with a neutral pH value or wool detergent. You can use fabric softener, but it is not necessary.

If you do not trust to put the pillow in the washing machine, you can also wash it by hand. For a hand wash, use cold water and wool detergent. Use plenty of water and don't rub. You can use fabric softener for wool. Use your hands to remove the excess water from the scarf, but do not wring it. Rinse with cold water and pat the pillowcase with a dry towel until most of the water is gone.

NOTE: Remove the filling from your pillow before washing!

Do not clean the duck feather inner cushion in the washing machine. Washing a feather pillow in a washing machine causes the feathers to stick together. It is better for your feather pillow to take it to the dry cleaner.

Wool drying

Finished washing and then what? It is very important to know that your woolen products should never be hung up to dry! This is less important with this pillowcase, but it is better to press as much excess water out of the product and let it dry lying or hanging. Note: never put woolen products in the dryer! It is not necessary to iron the pillowcase.
